shooting the actual scenes, paying careful attention to lighting and audio considerations

Post production includes (where necessary):

synthesizing all the elements captured during production and melding them with other audio and visual elements into coherent and compelling storytelling on video

2D and 3D animations or special effects and compositing

color correction

audio mixing

outputting the video to various mediums depending on your needs, e.g., VHS tape, DVD disc, compressed for CD-ROM or the Web.
